Just like the different languages we speak, so are the social norms we adopt. Intrinsic values, principles and behavior of Japan’s eclectic culture shape her people’s ideology and the open-ness of their minds. In Japan, one is expected to do as the Japanese do. For instance, the Japanese always project a very prim and proper image and expect visitors to their country to do likewise. Any “unacceptable” behavior observed would naturally warrant the displeasure of the locals. |
